CRDA Back Into Action On Amaravati Region Works

As N Chandrababu Naidu is about to become Chief Minister of the state, the Amaravati capital region activities, that were shelved into darkness during five- year YS Jaganmohan Reddy regime, started resuming again. Due to Jagan’s cruel negligence of the capital region, the entire area is now filled with trees and garbage.

However, after the election results, the works of Amaravati are back on track. The officials of APCRDA (Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority) have recently started some works in Amaravati. These works have started after receiving orders to immediately remove the raised thorn bushes especially along the trunk roads in Amaravati and in the areas of the building complexes under construction.

APCRDA Commissioner Vivek Yadav inspected these works on Saturday. He also inquired about the works of Amaravati Smart City which is under construction. 76 JCB machines have been installed to remove garbage and trees and sanitation work is being carried out on war footing.

The officials also inspected the works of Amaravati Command Control Center under construction at Rayapudi. Orders were issued to complete these works immediately. The CRDA Commission inspected the area where the foundation stone of Amaravati was laid in Uddandarayunipalem.

It was ordered to provide protection with security guards here under the constant supervision of superiors. As Chandrababu Naidu is taking oath as the Chief Minister of AP on 12th of this month, the jungle clearance work is going on in the capital on war-foot. The works are going on along the Seed Access Road, the road from the High Court to Thullur and the roads built in accordance with the Amaravati Capital Master Plan.

There are no structures built to install electric wires underground. The trees were completely destroyed. With this, the work is going on to remove all these completely. Jungle clearance work is likely to be completed in four to five days. After Chandrababu took charge as Chief Minister, he is likely to announce key decisions  regarding Amaravati works.
