Before reaching the targets of Swarnandhra 2047, the Collector’s conference has formulated an action plan with the aim of achieving a state gross domestic product (GDP) of Rs. 29.29 lakh crore by 2029. The conference held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has estimated that Rs. 40.43 lakh crore would be required in the next five years for it.
It was clarified that investments of Rs. 19.52 lakh crore would come from the service sector. Investments of Rs. 11.9 lakh crore are likely to come from the industrial sector. Investments of Rs. 5.85 lakh crore are expected to come from agriculture-related sectors.
Officials said that government investments of Rs. 9.29 lakh crore and private investments of Rs. 31.14 lakh crore are likely to come in these three sectors. The targets were to achieve investments of Rs. 4.81 lakh crore through the state government budget alone, Rs. 2.5 lakh crore through central public sector enterprises, and Rs. 2 lakh crore through innovative policies.
It has been decided to achieve the Swarnandhra-2047 vision with a growth rate of 15 percent per year. The goal is to make AP an economy of Rs. 308 lakh crore by 2047, and the state’s per capita income is to reach Rs. 55 lakhs. The goals are to increase the average life expectancy to 85 years, achieve full literacy, 60 percent urbanization, and reduce unemployment to 2 percent.
The goals are to achieve exports of Rs. 39.12 lakh crore. The target has been set to reach Rs. 5.42 lakhs per capita income by 2029. A vision action plan has been prepared at the state, district, constituency, mandal, municipality, and secretariat levels. To implement the vision, 1100 employees will be involved in mapping various departments with vision action plan units and sector-wise GSDP. The government has made it clear that the GSDP growth target for 2025-2026 is 17 percent.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that efficient works of government departments and divisions reflect only when the number of complaints has become zero. Spanking on the issue of public grievance redressal, he said that from June 15 to the 19th of this month, out of a total of 8.26 lakh complaints in the state, 7.22 lakh have been resolved so far.
He said that complaints should be resolved permanently and directed the district collectors to pay special attention to this. Similarly, he said that the departments that receive more complaints should pay more attention. He suggested that an external audit be conducted regarding grievance redressal.
