However, this post did not appear on the Collector’s Instagram account again within a few hours. Many felt that some senior officials may intervene and pacifying her advised to delete the same. Meanwhile, Vardhannapet MLA KR Nagaraju said that the CMO will take action against Minister Ponguleti’s comments on Karimnagar Collector Pamela Satpathi.
BRS MLC K. Kavitha expressed her anger, saying that this is the height of arrogance of Congress leaders and said that such a shameless attitude is unacceptable. She said that this is not just an insult to the Collector, but insulted the entire administrative machinery. She said that she will stand by the woman Collector. She demanded that Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy and the Congress party apologize immediately to the woman Collector.
