CM Revanth Reddy’s Explosive Comments on PM Modi Spark Political Uproar

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has raised a tempest in a teapot with sharp comments against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, challenging his assertion of being a Backward Classes (BC) and his style of governance. During a Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) meeting at Gandhi Bhavan, on the BC census and SC categorization, Revanth’s remarks have witnessed a new political storm brewing, paving the way for a fierce confrontation between BJP and Congress.

In his address, Revanth accused PM Modi of not being a genuine BC. He said, “Narendra Modi was not born in the BC community. Till 2001, he belonged to an upper caste. But after becoming Chief Minister of Gujarat, he lawfully changed his caste under the BC category. Though he may possess a BC certificate, his administration and policies are anti-BC.”

Further intensifying his attack, Revanth questioned why the Modi government failed to conduct a caste-based census in 2021 if it genuinely cared for backward communities. “If Modi truly supports BCs, why hasn’t his government revealed their population figures? As long as leaders like Modi remain in power, BCs will never get the justice they deserve,” he stated.

Revanth’s stinging attack has sparked a huge political controversy, and BJP leaders are likely to retaliate with force. His remarks are expected to fan out intense debates in political circles over the next few days, raising the temperature between ruling and opposition parties.
