Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will be going on a foreign visit from 13th of this month. During his 12-day foreign visit, he will be visiting Australia, Singapore and Davos in Switzerland. He is likely to return to Hyderabad on January 24.
According to official sources, he will be reaching Australia on 13th night and will be in the country for four days, till 17th of this month. It may be recalled that the Telangana state government has already decided to set up a sports university in the state.
As part of that, the University of Queensland in Australia will be inspected. Along with the CM, Government Advisor Jitendra Reddy, Government Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, Sports MD Soni Bala, and Sports Chairman Shivsena Reddy will accompany him.
The Chief Minister’s team will inspect the University of Queensland there. Officials said that the Chief Minister’s team, which will come to Singapore on the 18th of this month, will inspect the shopping malls and construction of sports complexes there. Similarly, it is known that CM Revanth Reddy and State IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu will participate in the industrialists’ meeting to be held in Singapore.
Later, on the 19th, the Chief Minister’s team will leave Singapore for Davos of Switzerland. They will visit there from the 21st to the 23rd. The 55th annual conference of the ‘World Economic Forum’ will be held in Davos for 5 days from the 20th to the 24th.
Along with the CM, IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Special Chief Secretary of the department Jayesh Ranjan and other top officials are participating for three days. During the Davos visit in 2024, the state government signed agreements related to investments worth over Rs. 40,000 crores with different companies.
Official sources said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s team has prepared action plans with the aim of attracting more investments during the current visit as well. They will return to Hyderabad on 25th.
