Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that they are trying to further improve trade relations between the US and Telangana and that his government is committed to the Telangana Rising vision to make Telangana a 1 trillion dollar economy by 2035 and a 3 trillion dollar economy by 2047, and the support of the Americans is needed for this.
The Chief Minister, participating in the Hyderabad Consul General – US Independence Day celebrations held at the Taj Krishna in Hyderabad on Friday night, said that about 200 American companies from sectors like IT, pharma, defense, manufacturing, and aerospace are currently operating in Hyderabad and many students are going to America from here to fulfill their dreams.
He recalled that in 2008, during the then Congress government led by Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, a US Consulate General office was established in Hyderabad and that America has shown great commitment in improving diplomatic relations with India.
He praised the friendly ties between the Telugu people and America, saying that the Telugu language is developing rapidly in America. He appreciated that Hyderabad Consul General Jennifer Larson is standing as a strong bridge between the two countries in strengthening trade relations between the two cultures and people.
He hoped that Hyderabad would achieve further progress and bring the best of America to Telangana, and he believed that if there was one thing, as the theme of these celebrations was to say, “If only we could grow stronger.” Revanth Reddy said that after the independence of the United States of America, the world had completely changed and many positive aspects had been unveiled before the world.
He said that America has a spirit that never accepts defeat, and that it has always been a strong country and has been able to show solutions in a positive way. He stated that the spirit of Telangana is also very similar to the spirit of America, and that the uniqueness of Telangana is seeking friendship and strengthening ties.
