Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, recalling that Orugallu is a place with great vitality and that the people of the joint district and students of Kakatiya University played a crucial role in the Telangana movement, announced that Warangal will be developed in a way that will compete with Hyderabad.
He said that as part of the development of Warangal city, Rs. 6500 crores have been sanctioned for Outer Ring Road, underground drainage and other development works. As promised, he said an airport has been brought to Warangal and he will work to establish Kazipet Division.
Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stone for development works worth Rs. 800 crores during his visit to Jangaon district station Ghanpur on Sunday. Seven RTC buses sanctioned to self-help groups under the Mahila Shakti scheme with Rs. 102.1 crores were handed over to the beneficiaries.
CM Revanth Reddy attended the Praja Ghalana Sabha in Shivunipalli, a suburb of Station Ghanpur. The Chief Minister launched various development programs in the Station Ghanpur constituency virtually from the Shivunipally center.
A cheque of Rs. Rs. .74 crore was handed over to 48,717 Women Self Help Groups of the joint Warangal district as interest subsidy on bank loans. He handed over a cheque of Rs. 100.93 crore to 1289 #SHG groups in Jangaon district.
As part of the Devadula Lift Irrigation Scheme Phase-2, CC lining works of RS Ghanpur main canal were sanctioned at a cost of Rs. 148.76 crore and 750 Indiramma houses were sanctioned in Station Ghanpur constituency at a cost of Rs. 25.6 crore. On this occasion, the Chief Minister addressed the “Prajapalana – Pragathi Bata Sabha”.
Local MLA Kadiyam Srihari along with Congress MLAs and MPs also participated in this program. CM recalled that the airport came to Warangal after their government came to power and the outer ring road to Warangal also came after our government came to power. Not only that, he said that the Kazipet Railway Coach Factory came after our government came to power.
