CM Revanth Reddy Responds Again on Pushpa 2 Stampede Incident

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has once again addressed the stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre during the release of Pushpa 2, which led to the arrest and subsequent release on bail of actor Allu Arjun. The tragic incident, which claimed one life, sparked widespread discussions across the nation.

Speaking at the Assembly earlier and during his recent visit to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Revanth Reddy responded to questions from the media about the actor’s involvement.

When asked if Allu Arjun was directly responsible for the stampede, Revanth Reddy stated, “Two days prior to the event, the police had denied permission. Despite this, Allu Arjun proceeded to the venue, which led to a massive crowd gathering. In the chaos, his security personnel pushed people away, resulting in the tragic death of one individual. While the actor may not have directly caused the death, it is disheartening that the victim’s family received no support for 10-12 days. The law has taken its course in this matter.”

The incident and its aftermath remain a subject of scrutiny, with debates continuing over accountability and safety measures at public events.
