CM Revanth Reddy Renames Women’s University After Chakali Ilamma

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has made another significant announcement. He declared that the Women’s University in Koti, Hyderabad, will be renamed after Chakali Ilamma. The Chief Minister made this announcement while attending the 39th death anniversary of Chakali Ilamma at Ravindra Bharathi today.

In his speech, CM Revanth Reddy emphasized that Chakali Ilamma’s legacy is unforgettable, and her spirit will guide the Congress government forward. He highlighted how Ilamma’s fight against land encroachment has been a personal inspiration. The CM also announced that Chakali Ilamma’s granddaughter, Shweta, will be appointed as a member of the State Women’s Commission. During the event, Revanth Reddy honored Ilamma’s family members. Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti, ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, and Sridhar Babu were also present at the event.
