CM Revanth Reddy is proud as Telangana police is at top of the country in policies and new technology adoption

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that his government is proud that the Telangana police department is at the top of the country with the policies and new technology adopted by the Telangana Police Department. He rerecalled that according to the India Justice Report 2025, the Telangana Police Department has been ranked first in the country.

The CM attended the Police Flag Day Parade organized on the occasion of Police Martyrs’ Commemoration Day at Gosha Mahal in Hyderabad as the chief guest. On this occasion, he unveiled a new Police Martyrs’ Memorial Stupa. The CM paid tributes to the police martyrs who lost their lives in the line of duty.

The Chief Minister said that he had also received special congratulations from the Ministry of External Affairs in the passport verification process. He said that these achievements are a testament to the continuous efforts and dedication of the Telangana Police personnel. 

Similarly, he said that he hopes that the Telangana Police Department will continue to be at the top of the country by maintaining public safety and peace. CM Revanth Reddy said that it is the duty of all of us to remember the many police martyrs who laid down their lives for the country in the line of duty. 

He said that it is with that responsibility that we celebrate ‘Police Martyrs’ Commemoration Day’ every year on ‘October 21’ across the country. He recalled that this year, 191 police personnel across the country and six policemen in the state of Telangana laid down their lives in the line of duty.

He recalled that Greyhounds commandos T. Sandeep, V. Sridhar, N. Pawan Kalyan  died bravely while fighting anti-social forces.  Assistant Commandant Bhanothu Jawaharlal and Nalgonda Constable B. Saidu died in the line of duty. Three days ago, CCS Constable Empalli Pramod Kumar died in the line of duty in Nizamabad.

The Chief Minister appreciated that the Telangana Police has set an example for the country by working tirelessly to prevent terrorism,  anti-social activities, communal agitations, white-collar crimes, drugs, cyber crimes, adulterated food, gutkha, matka and other anti-social activities from growing in the state.

 “I wholeheartedly congratulate the Telangana Police Department for increasing the trust of the people by creating a situation where they cannot get away with committing a crime”, he said.
