CM Revanth Reddy Furious over Meenakshi Natarajan’s Padayatra without His knowledge

The cold war between Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Congress party state affairs in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan has intensified. Revanth Reddy is said to be furious over her decision to hold Padayatra in the state without his knowledge has further inflamed the differences that have been simmering since the beginning.

While CM Revanth Reddy is moving his feet to stop Meenakshi’s march, it is learnt that she is acting stubbornly, saying that she will not stop the march under any circumstances. In this context, they are seen trying to check each other’s dominance. The Congress high command has stepped in as the differences between the two key leaders have reached a peak and the situation is getting out of hand.

AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal called both Revanth Reddy and Meenakshi Natarajan and expressed his impatience. He made it clear that if the party and the government are to be run in a coordinated manner, then these fights and dominance tendencies are not acceptable. Meenakshi Natarajan along with PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud went to CM Revanth Reddy’s house on Wednesday after the high command ordered them to put a full stop to the differences.

Here too, it is reliably learnt that a heated argument took place. CM Revanth Reddy confronted in-charge Meenakshi about how the decision to hold a padayatra was taken without his knowledge and how the dates were announced. Reacting to this, Meenakshi reportedly said that this was a decision of the high command. At one stage he reportedly lost patience and made extreme comments.

The CM said that if they felt that he was useless and did not like his performance, he should be removed from office, but his image should not be tarnished. Meenakshi Natarajan also responded to CM Revanth Reddy’s comments in the same manner and countered that the image is not only for you but also for the party. She firmly replied that there is no need to tell him all the decisions of the high command and the party.

At this state, TPCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud tried to make peace with the argument between the two as it was crossing the line. He suggested a middle ground. As part of this, it was decided to continue both the Delhi Yatra and the Meenakshi’s Padayatra. However, the last two days of the Meenakshi Padayatra were cancelled.
