Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has instructed officials to take immediate steps for the issuance of new ration cards, ensuring that all eligible beneficiaries receive them without delays. He also emphasized the need to create awareness to prevent repeated applications from eligible individuals.
In districts where the MLC election code is not in effect, the Chief Minister directed officials to proceed with issuing ration cards immediately. Additionally, he reviewed multiple design options for the new ration cards.
Officials informed Revanth Reddy that lakhs of applications have already been received, including requests for new ration cards and the addition of members to existing ones.
