CM Revanth Reddy Assures Towards A permanent solutions To Flood Damages

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy assured that his government will definitely help the flood victims and said that the floods have not happened in a hundred years this year. He made it clear efforts are being made towards a permanent solution. CM Revanth Reddy visited Kamareddy district and inspected the areas damaged by heavy rains and gave courage to the victims.

The Chief Minister inspected the fields where sand dunes were laid at Burugadda. Farmers explained the damage they suffered in this process. He also inspected the condition of the bridge in Lingampet. The CM ordered to prepare complete plans for the construction of the bridge. He advised the officials to examine the feasibility of constructing a bridge cum check dam. He assured that special funds will be provided to remove the sand dunes laid in the fields.

“The poor, farmers and students have suffered due to the floods. We have ordered that books be provided to all students immediately. We will help the beedi and other industry workers who have suffered due to the floods. Kodangal is like that. Kamareddy is also like that for me. There was no loss of life due to the alertness of the authorities. Leaders and officials participated in the relief efforts,” he said.

 “We have taken up relief efforts by coordinating several departments. We have come here to meet the people of the flooded areas. We are making efforts towards a permanent solution,” CM Revanth Reddy announced.

“Minor and major irrigation projects have been damaged by the floods. The Pocharam project has stood up to the floods and saved you. We have made temporary repairs immediately. We have come here to see your hardships and the losses incurred firsthand. We have instructed the officials to prepare plans for a permanent solution,” Revanth Reddy said.

“We will allocate special funds to remove sand dunes in crop fields. We will provide crop damage compensation. Officials should prepare estimates to repair roads and projects. The government will take responsibility for resolving all problems. Officials should visit the field level and assess the flood damage in full,” CM Revanth Reddy ordered.
