Asking AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to cancel the Rayalseema Lift Project, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy cautioned that they know how to fight if he do not cooperate. He made it clear that Palamuru has the power to fight and achieve with courage. Moreover, CM Revanth Reddy revealed that he will take the responsibility of leading the fight.
He has appealed to Chandrababu Naidu not to block Telangana projects. During his visit to Nagarkurnool district in Telangana, Revanth Reddy recalled that projects came up in Palamuru during Chandrababu’s tenure, and Bhima, Nettempadu and Koilsagar have also come up.
“Chandrababu, you are an informed leader, you started Kalvakurthi yourself. Palamuru-Rangareddy was started when you were the main opposition leader. But what is the justice in blocking projects started during your time? I am appealing to CM Chandrababu not to block Palamuru-Rangareddy” said CM Revanth.
CM Revanth Reddy has appealed to Chandrababu not to block Dindi, Kalwakurthy, Bhima, Nettempadu and Koilsagar. He recalled that CM Chandrababu had once adopted Palamuru, and said he should facilitate and cooperate to complete those projects, and you should also cooperate in completing them.
He pleaded Chandrababu “Do not block the Telangana projects. Projects in Palamuru came up during Chandrababu’s tenure, Bhima, Nettempadu, and Koilsagar came up during his tenure. Chandrababu, you are a wise man and you yourself started Kalvakurthi”.
He recalled that “Palamuru-Ranga Reddy started when you were the main opposition leader. What is the justice in blocking the projects started during your time/ I am appealing to Chandrababu, do not obstruct Palamuru-Ranga Reddy. We know how to fight if you do not cooperate. Palamuru has the power to fight and achieve. I will take the responsibility of leading the fight.”
CM Revanth Reddy, who is on a tour of Nagarkurnool district in Telangana, laid the foundation stone for several development works in Kollapur. He laid the foundation stone for the Young India Integrated Residential School and distributed interest-free loan cheques to self-help groups. Later, he participated in a public meeting organized in Jataprolu itself.
Revanth Reddy lamented that the children of Palamuru have become displaced due to the construction of Srisailam. He said that the poor who were flooded as per GO 98 were not helped and if the problems of Palamuru had been solved, the situation of migration of all the people here would not have come to this.
He accused that due to KCR’s negligence, Palamuru district has become a desert and lakhs have migrated. The CM was angry that injustice was done in the combined state by not building projects. CM Revanth Reddy alleged that more betrayal took place during KCR’s tenure than the injustice that took place in the combined state.
