Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu today traveled from Vijayawada to Srisailam via seaplane, marking the successful launch of the innovative air transport service. Upon arriving, he participated in a program where he addressed concerns over social media posts and issued a strong warning against offensive behavior.
Speaking on the issue, CM Naidu stated, “We will remain respectful, but anyone who targets women will not be spared. When I make a decision, I stand firm. Some people still fail to understand the significance of being a CM since 1995, a time when many of them were either not born or still playing marbles.” He emphasized that rowdyism would not be tolerated under his leadership and that strict action would be taken against those disrupting peace and security.
The Chief Minister also criticized his political opponent, YS Jagan, stating, “Jagan has no respect for his mother or sister. We have values and culture. We know how to handle unruly behavior. Rowdies and goons won’t succeed under my rule. Social media posts should be respectful, and if they aren’t, we will take strict action against them.”
Earlier in the day, Naidu discussed the significance of the seaplane project, describing it as a game-changing initiative. The new service enables travelers to reach Srisailam from Vijayawada in just 40 minutes, bypassing road congestion and other logistical challenges. He also pointed out the issues faced by tourists visiting the region, including heavy traffic, limited accommodation options, and poor road conditions.
Naidu expressed his vision for further tourism development in Srisailam, including plans for a tiger safari at the Tummalabayalu region, a meditation center near Akkamahadevi caves, and other infrastructure improvements to boost the area’s tourism potential.
Reflecting on his own experience with the seaplane, Naidu shared, “Flying in a seaplane was a unique experience. In just 40 minutes, we traveled from Vijayawada to Srisailam. The landing on water was smooth, and the runway here was perfect. It was a completely new experience.”
