CM Chandrababu To visit Polavaram project Again on Mar 27

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will visit the Polavaram project once again. On March 27th, CM Chandrababu will reach Polavaram by helicopter from his residence in Undavalli at 10 am. He will reach the project site at 11.00 am that day. Later, CM Chandrababu will inspect the Polavaram project and hold a review with senior officials at the project office.

After that, he will visit the Polavaram project site at 3.00 pm. After that, CM Chandrababu will return to Vijayawada at 3.15 pm. On the same day, that is, on Thursday evening, the government will host an Iftar dinner for Muslim brothers at a convention center. CM Chandrababu Naidu will participate in this program. After that, CM Chandrababu will reach his residence in Undavalli.

After the coalition government has returned, Chandrababu Naidu has declared that construction of capital city Amaravati and the lifeline of AP Polavaram Project completion will be his prime targets. These two projects were shelved practically during YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s regime.

He has started initiating strategic moves for these two projects and also succeeding from getting crucial assistance and encouragement from the Narendra Modi-led union government. PM Modi also said that the center will assist in all means for fulfilment of these two prestigious projects.

As part of that, the Center is already providing more assistance for the construction of the state’s lifeline Polavaram project. In this context, CM Chandrababu will hold a review with senior officials of the Water Resources Department on the progress of the project.

The TDP government between 2014-19 also conducted a review of the Polavaram project works every Monday. With this, the then government considered Monday as Polavaram week. During the previous YSRCP government, there was no one to tell how far the construction of the Polavaram project had come.

It is well known that the two Water Resources Ministers who worked during that government, Anil Kumar Yadav and Ambati Rambabu, were confined to media conferences. Only after the formation of a new government last year, the pace of work on the capital Amaravati and Polavaram projects picked up.
