Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will be meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior union ministers during his two day visit to New Delhi, starting from Monday. He will be meeting the Prime Minister at 4.30 PM on Monday.
He will also meet union ministers Ashwini Vaishnav, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Nirmala Sitharaman and others. He will be meeting them for the first time after Budameru floods and the state government sent a detailed report on flood damages.
During these meetings, he is likely to discuss the foundation stone for the Railway Zone office at Visakhapatnam, merger of Visakha Steel with SAIL and flood relief to the state. He will also seek the central government’s intervention to ensure to get World Bank funds for Amaravati without any hindrance. Moreover, he will also seek to clear issues related to the Polavaram Project.
Chandrababu Naidu mainly visited Delhi to attend a meeting conveyed by Home Minister Amit Shah with the Chief Ministers and senior police officials of the Left Extremists affected states. Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy is also attending this meeting. The meeting mainly focuses on the Center’s resolve to eliminate Maoists from the country by 2026.
TDP leaders are recalling that every time Chandrababu goes to Delhi, the state is benefiting. They reminded that the promises given in the election are being implemented one by one.
Meanwhile, ahead of Chandrababu Naidu’s New Delhi visit, the meeting of former chief minister and BJP leader N Kirankumar Reddy with him in Hyderabad on Sunday gained significance. It may be recalled that very recently, Kiran Kumar Reddy has met union home minister Amit Shah.
As both the leaders are hails from Chittoor district, they are believed to be discussing the political scenario prevailed in the state, particularly following row over adulteration of ghee used for Tirupati laddu during YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s regime.
