CM Chandrababu To Give Minister’s Progress Report After 100 Days

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that he will give the Progress Report of all ministers after 100 days of their performance. After the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, he discussed political issues with them, sending officials away from the meeting.

He said that he will give a report of Jana Sena ministers to Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.  He expressed anger over controversies due to behaviour of family members of few Ministers and MLAs. He made it clear that it is the duty of the Minister and MLAs to ensure that the behavior of their family members should not cross limitations. If such incidents are highlighted in the media, he deplored that good things done by the government will be sidelined.

He ridiculed the ‘reverse tendering’ system adopted by the previous government. He said that in the previous government, a single tender was given for about 40 projects and asked what is the meaning of reverse tendering? Ministers suggested that the tender process should be conducted as per CVC guidelines.

Moreover, Chief Minister lamented that Jaganmohan Reddy tried to get approval of the judiciary for his wrong doings bringing these things for judicial preview. He said that this system should be abolished in the next assembly session.

CM Chandrababu commented that the sand policy is now returning to track. Minister Nimmala Ramanaidu suggested that if sand is allowed to be supplied without time limits, the congestion of lorries at the stock points will be reduced. The Cabinet agreed in principle to allow sand mining in patta lands as well.

There was a discussion in the cabinet on the decision to cancel the ration vehicles and the officials said that the vehicles have a bank linkage. While Payyavula Keshav said that there is no use for ration vehicles, CM Chandrababu said that the problems faced with bank linkage and how to use them should be discussed further and a decision will be taken later.

It was discussed that among the lands that went into free-hold, the highest number of 5 thousand acres of land was registered in Sathya Sai district. CM Chandrababu ordered a full investigation into every registration of freehold lands.
