Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu lashed out at the YSRCP for threatening even Singapore ministers who had gone there during the previous government. He said that he had to work hard to restore the trust that the Singaporean government had lost in the state government. After the cabinet meeting at the Secretariat in Amaravati, he discussed the latest political issues with the ministers.
The CM explained how the Singaporean government was scared due to the Jaganmohan Reddy government’s management. He said that the Singaporean government did not agree to come to the investment summit in November so easily. He flagged that they were intimidated by threatening to file cases.
The CM made it clear that all ministers should participate in the program to start free buses for women on August 15. The cabinet approved the bar policy. He warned that he would not tolerate benami people entering the shops allocated for the Kallu Geeta workers.
Minister Nadendla Manohar suggested that auto drivers be called and talked to before starting free travel for women. The CM, who called it a good suggestion, immediately called the auto drivers and ordered them to convene a meeting. Similarly, CM Chandrababu ordered that the proposals for changing the names of some districts in the state and merging several constituencies with neighboring districts be completed within a month.
He clarified that the chaotic situation created by the previous government should be quickly cleared. He suggested that the work should be expedited as a cabinet sub-committee was recently formed on this. Ministers should be careful about this, saying that while doing many good programs for the people, YSRCP leaders are working hard and spreading false propaganda against us.
CM Chandrababu made it clear to the ministers that everyone should study their subjects well and immediately refute them. Chandrababu advised the leaders to be vigilant when taking photos and advised them to be careful of those who approach and ask for photos.
Minister Farooq said that he will not allow anyone who is not from the Telugu Desam Party to come to him. It was revealed that even though the liquor scam accused Venkatesh Naidu is from Nandyal, he had deliberately kept the YSRCP man away. BC Janardhan Reddy said that he is also taking the same precautions.
