AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu criticized that while the country is progressing in Swachh Bharat, Delhi is turning into a garbage bin. He said that the situation in Delhi today is the same as Hyderabad was in 1995.
On Sunday, he participated in an election campaign meeting organized on behalf of BJP candidates in Shahdara constituency and appealed to the people to make BJP candidate Sanjay Goyal win as Shahdara MLA.
The TDP chief criticized that the AAP government in Delhi has not been able to provide clean drinking water to the people despite being in power for ten years. He called for the BJP to win if Delhi is to be put on the path of development and the living standards of the people are to improve.
He said that the responsibility of going door to door and explaining the need for the formation of a double engine government lies with the Telugu brothers and sisters. He expressed anger that the Congress party has destroyed the country and Kejriwal has corrupted Delhi.
Chadnrababu said that the BJP’s victory in Delhi will be a turning point in the country’s history. Chandrababu Naidu advised people to do politics not for power… for public service. He deplored that Delhi, the capital of the country, is trapped in a cycle of problems and is far from development.
“Once upon a time, people used to come here from Bihar for employment. But now, due to the attitude of the rulers here, the youth are going to Bangalore and Hyderabad for jobs. There is no development under the AAP rule, there are no roads, no infrastructure. The air pollution is unbearable”, he added.
The TDP chief assured that if a double engine government had come, Delhi would have beaten Washington and New York. If BJP wins, both welfare and development will be provided to the people, he said.
‘If TDP, Jana Sena and BJP contested together in AP, the opposing party was defeated. It could not even get deposits. We have brought investments of Rs. 7 lakh crore to the state in seven months. This was possible only with the double engine government”, he added.
Recalling that former AP CM Jaganmohan Reddy, who built the Rushikonda Palace, went home before entering that palace, Chandrababu said he is sure that Kejriwal also built a magnificent Sheesh Mahal in Delhi will face the same fate.
Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that CM Chandrababu will constantly think about welfare and development. Union Ministers Rammohan Naidu, Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, MPs Lavu Srikrishna Devaraya, Kalisetti Appalanaidu, Daggumalla Prasada Rao, Bastipati Nagaraju, Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, Krishna Prasad, Byreddy Sabari, GM Harish, Balashouri, Uday Srinivas and others participated in the program.
