CM Chandrababu says WhatsApp governance to be launched from Jan 18

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that WhatsApp governance will be launched in the state from January 18. Interacting with TDP workers in his native village Naravaripalle on Sankranti day, he said “in the future, your cell phone will work as a weapon for you. We will use technology to prevent fraud in welfare schemes”.

He revealed that 150 services like date of birth, caste, nativity, and Adangal will be made online without any hassle to the people of the state. Chandrababu said that with this system, there will be no need to go to government offices and people will also save time. The CM said that the goals of the coalition government are a healthy, prosperous and happy society and constantly working to eradicate poverty and economic inequality.

He said they are giving free electricity to SCs and STs and they can generate electricity at their home. Moreover, he said they can also earn money by selling excess electricity. He anounced that they will make Kuppam constituency a model for this.

The Chief Minister said that Telugus earn more than Americans in America and the same situation should come here. “Whether I am in power or in the opposition, I am working for the people. Many people have come up in life using my ideas. It is because of the visionary I showed that day that today, a few lakhs of people in Hyderabad have become crorepatis”, he added.

“Many people have benefited from the Outer Ring Road, airport and IT,” he said.  Meanwhile, he deplored that this year, about 6,000 TMC of Godavari and Krishna river water was wasted in the sea. He said that the people of the state were able to use only 350 TMC of it.

The Chief Minister expressed hope that if there is water, Rayalaseema will become a land of gems. He said that efforts are being made in that direction. He said that big changes are coming in agriculture.

“All countries of the world are looking towards natural irrigation. Natural irrigation always provides income. Drip irrigation has been used in the last five years. We have got an opportunity to check the quality of the food we eat. That is why everyone is giving priority to horticulture. Income in dairy has increased”, he said.

Chandrababu also said that the use of drones in agriculture has increased and trees can be inspected through drones. Pesticides can be applied to damaged trees with their help. He recalled that he himself  has initiated organic farming and will further promote organic farming in the state.
