Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has made it clear that the target is to make AP a 2.4 trillion dollar economy by 2047 and plans have been made to achieve a gross state product of Rs 308 lakh crore.
Participating in a brief discussion in the Legislative Assembly on the 2047 Vision Document, he revealed that the destroyed state has been put back on track. He said that plans should be made with foresight. He reminded that Vision 2020 was brought for a united Andhra Pradesh in the 1990s and the united state has more benefits than what was said.
Stating that the Prime Minister Modi is implementing 2047 Vikasit Bharat, he said that is why the Swarnandhra Vision 2047 document has been prepared so that AP too can take steps towards development. He said that the district-wise vision documents have also been prepared by involving the MLAs.
He said that the vision document has been prepared to achieve a per capita income of Rs. 55 lakhs with a growth rate of 15 percent every year. He said that in the current financial year, we have set a target of achieving a growth rate of 17.11 percent and we are working towards a total GSDP of Rs. 18,65,704 crores and a per capita income of Rs. 3.47 lakhs.
He said that the vision will be implemented constituency-wise and the MLA will be appointed as the chairman of this committee. The CM said that an expert who has studied MBA will also be appointed for the implementation of the vision. He also said that there will be rankings to achieve the goals of this vision. He said that a review will be conducted in the Collectors’ Conference every three months.
Chandrababu said that surveys will also be conducted on positive public perception and opinions will be gathered. He said that a real-time P4 dashboard has been set up. The CM revealed that the people are also being involved in real-time. He said that changes will be made in the decisions based on the opinions received from the people. He said that P4 will be started from Ugadi day.
The Chief Minister said that if a total of 35 lakh people are in poverty, 20 lakh will be included in the first phase and 15 lakh in the second phase. He said that a list will also be prepared to help them. He said that the P4 program should be implemented properly constituency-wise.
