CM Chandrababu says Taking Govt. programs To people Is Minister’s Task

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu made it clear that the responsibility of taking the welfare schemes and development programs being implemented by the government to the people lies with the ministers. After the cabinet meeting on Thursday, CM Chandrababu interacted with the ministers for a while on governance issues.

They also discussed various schemes to be implemented in the new year and issue of paying Rs. 20,000 in one go as financial assistance to farmers and fishermen. The Finance Department gave a presentation on the state’s financial difficulties.

CM Chandrababu Naidu clarified that despite the financial difficulties, all the schemes will be implemented as promised in the elections. Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan inquired about the amount of arrears. Minister Payyavula Keshav explained that there are more than Rs. 1,30,000 crore arrears.

It was decided to form a cabinet sub-committee with ministers to make the Prime Minister’s visit to Visakhapatnam on the 8th of this month a success. It was also decided to make it a success in the context of the Prime Minister also organizing a roadshow.

Prime Minister Modi will lay the foundation stone for the NTTPC Green Hydrogen Project, Nakkapalli Bulk Drug Park, Visakhapatnam Railway Zone and Industrial Node in Visakhapatnam. CM Chandrababu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan will hold a road show along with PM Modi.

It was decided to form a coordination committee with 3 parties for the road show from Visakhapatnam Siddhi Vinayaka Temple to the public meeting venue.

In this meeting, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu took a class for the revenue officials. He warned that action will be taken against the officials after the government received feedback that the problems were not being resolved in the revenue conferences.

CM Chandrababu questioned the officials when they would be resolved and why they were not? Special Chief Secretary Sisodia said that they would be resolved soon. “You have patience… people should have patience, right? But how many days will people wait” CM asked. He questioned why 22A lands and house sites were not resolved immediately. Revenue Minister Satya Prasad said that he would resolve all the problems and give a report.
