CM Chandrababu says Role of Telugus In Constitution writing Is Memorable

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that the role of Telugus in the writing of the Constitution is memorable. He unveiled the AP assembly calendar for the year 2025 in an innovative way to show the pictures of famous people and history, at his residence on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, CM Chandrababu said that the Constitution of India has completed 75 years since it came into force.

With this, he appreciated that the calendar has been created to commemorate the Telugu celebrities who participated in the writing of the Constitution of that time. He said that it is a matter of pride that Tanguturi Prakasam Pantulu, who showed courage by saying Goback Simon, was a participant in the writing of the Constitution.

He said that Prakasam Pantulu provided assistance and cooperation in the drafting of issues such as local bodies and the discretionary powers of the Governor in the Constitution. He said that Bhogamraju Pattabhi Seetharamaiah served as a member of the Constituent Assembly Consultative Committee.

He said that the Constituent Assembly had approved the key suggestions made by Durgabhai Deshmukh on the national language, judiciary, freedom and human trafficking. He said that Moturi Satyanarayana had made suggestions on the national language, decentralization of power and emergency powers and NG Ranga had made suggestions on the formation of two houses of Andhra Pradesh.

CM Chandrababu also recalled that VC Kesava Rao, Alladi Krishnaswamy, Mosalikanti Tirumala Rao and Kala Venkat Rao had rendered their services. He said that he was happy to prepare and unveil the assembly calendar with the portraits of such people. Speaker Ayyanna Patrudu, Deputy Speaker Raghuramakrishnam Raju and Assembly Secretary General Suryadevara Prasanna Kumar were present at the event.

Meanwhile, CM Chandrababu tweeted on the organization of the World Telugu Writers’ Conference on Twitter (X). He said that organizing the World Telugu Writers’ Conference in Vijayawada is a matter of pride for all Telugus. He said that the venue of these conferences, which are being held with the aim of preserving the mother tongue for future generations, has been named after the immortal Potti Sriramulu.

He said that it reminds everyone of the unique sacrifice made by that great man for the Telugu nation. He also said that it is commendable to name the main stage after Ramoji Rao, who made significant efforts for the development of the Telugu language. He expressed special thanks to all the guests who attended these conferences and all the Telugu language enthusiasts participating in them. Wishing the success of these conferences, CM Chadrababu expressed special congratulations to the organizers.
