Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that progress is impossible without the participation of women. He said that his government’s goal is to develop women in every household in the state on an equal footing with men in all sectors.
He said that they are moving forward with the aim of making an entrepreneur from every household and making the state a hub for women entrepreneurs. He assured that his government will support women entrepreneurs who come forward to set up industries.
CM Chandrababu inaugurated a three-day international conference organized by the Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India (ALEP) in Vijayawada on Friday. He virtually laid the foundation stone of the first green industrial park being set up for women entrepreneurs in Anakapalle.
Later, Chandrababu said that now women are also showing immense potential and are surpassing men in earnings. According to the Periodic Labor Force Survey 2023-24, he said women’s participation in the workforce has increased significantly. That is why we are also introducing a work from home policy for women, he added.
The Chief Minister assured that the government will bring conditions where women can earn more than men who sit at home. He said that women entrepreneurs who come forward to set up industries will not need to go to government offices for registrations and permissions, but certificates will come to their cellphones within hours through WhatsApp Governance.
Chandrababu said that Indian women will make their aspiration to be number one in the world come true. He said that his coalition government is committed to women empowerment. He explained that the government is providing 45 percent incentives to women entrepreneurs who set up industries in the state, and that excellent industrial policies are being implemented for BC, SC and ST entrepreneurs.
He assured that anyone who comes forward with business ideas will be supported in every way through Ratan Tata Innovation Centers.
