CM Chandrababu says P4 program Is An Innovative way To completely Eradicate poverty In AP

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that the P4 program is being launched on Ugadi in an innovative way to completely eradicate poverty in the state. He revealed that the government is making a platform available under the program so that the rich can help the poor and thus build a society free from poverty.

He clarified that generosity is the most important thing in the P4 program and there will be no additional help from the government. He said that 20 lakh families will benefit from this program in the first phase. He said that the target is to eradicate poverty by 2029.

In the context of the launch of the P4 program on Ugadi, the CM reviewed the structure of the program at the Secretariat on Monday and approved it. He said on this occasion that anyone who voluntarily comes forward to support the poor, including NRIs, can use this platform.

Chandrababu advised the officials not to pressure anyone to become a part of the program. He clarified that the role of the government is limited to bringing donors and beneficiaries to a platform. He revealed that no one will receive additional financial assistance from the government.

The CM suggested that the poor families who benefit should be called the “golden family” and the wealthy families who help should be called the “guides”. He suggested that there should be no mistakes in the selection of beneficiaries, thereby inspiring those who come forward to help.

He said that the final list of beneficiaries should be prepared through gram sabha and ward sabhas in a transparent manner, without any room for disputes. He said that the P4 scheme has no connection with government welfare schemes and that the main purpose of P4 is to provide assistance to the marginalized in the society.

Chandrababu instructed the officials to ensure that people do not get confused about the program. He said that at least one person from every village should attend the inaugural program to be held in Amaravati on Ugadi day, and a bus should be arranged from every constituency. The CM said that this program will continue until poverty is eradicated in the state.
