Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that he has shown what a double-engine government would look like. He said that the post of Chief Minister is not new and he has become CM 4 times. But he explained that he has governed efficiently and provided good governance every time.
Speaking at the ‘Good Governance-First Step’ conference being held in Amaravati on the occasion of the NDA alliance’s one-year rule in AP, he made it clear that he will keep his word no matter how many difficulties there are. He felt happy that even if the 3 parties are in power together, there will be no problem. He also asked the officials to come together to provide good governance.
Chandrababu deplored that the YSRCP government’s policies have made investors confident and the state’s development has been hampered by the 3-capital model. He said that they are putting a dent in the chaotic economic system. He did not say that he has done everything, but he revealed that he has done more than expected.
The CM said that 31 policies have been implemented in the past year and 82 schemes that were weakened by the previous government have been revived. “We are exploring all possible ways to improve the economic situation and we should take action to overcome the remaining problems”, he said.
CM Chandrababu said that the two Telugu states can use the flood waters of Godavari through the Polavaram- Banakacharla connection. He revealed that they are working out so that out of the 3,000 TMCs of water that meets in Godavari, 200 TMCs will be claimed by AP and another 200 TMC by Telangana.
He said that he hopes that the two Telugu states will be good. He clarified that the first phase of the capital Amaravati will be completed in 3 years and will be inaugurated again with Prime Minister Modi.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan clarified that theirs is a good government but not a soft government. He warned that if they provoke unnecessarily and act foolishly, they will trample on them. Pawan Kalyan concluded that they are moving forward with the administrative experience of CM Chandrababu and the support and cooperation of Prime Minister Modi.
He expressed happiness that the AP brand has been revived in a year. He explained that 20,000 km of roads have been repaired in the state. Pawan said that the people’s property has been protected and that Chandrababu is putting the broken economy in order.
AP BJP President Purandeshwari said that the NDA government is committed to serving the people of the country. She called for achieving the Vikasith Bharat goals set by Modi together. She said that Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan are working like charioteers towards achieving the Vikasith Bharat goals.
