CM Chandrababu says Every Family should Be Given A Family Card, It should Be used on The Lines of Aadhaar

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has suggested that every family in the state should be given a family card and the details of the schemes given by the government should be included in the family card given to each family. He directed that the family card should be used on the lines of Aadhaar. He suggested that the details in this card should be updated from time to time.

CM Chandrababu Naidu has instructed officials that the family card should be issued by incorporating all the details including the schemes being provided by the government. The Chief Minister held a review with top officials on the family benefit monitoring system at the Secretariat in Amaravati. The CM ordered a population policy soon. The CM clarified that information should be taken from the field level on the needs of each family.

High-ranking officials attended this review and here a decision to issue a family card was taken.  CM Chandrababu Naidu directed that the system should be prepared so that those in need of government welfare should get it immediately. He said that they should consider redesigning the schemes, if necessary, so that everyone benefits, so that families are not separated for the sake of government schemes.

He recalled that in the past, he had suggested that steps should be taken to encourage joint families to grow. He said that steps would be taken to ensure that the family gets the welfare that is common to them. As part of this, CM Chandrababu said that family cards are being designed.

Stating that people are the assets and the development of the state and the country is through them, CM Chandrababu asserted that if the population increases, the days of wealth increase have come. For this to continue, he said that there must be a good family system and there is a need to further promote our culture of being together and happy.  But in some places, he deplored that families are being separated for the sake of government schemes.

“It is sad that this is happening. This is the government that wants every family to be happy. We want to avoid the situation where families are being separated for the sake of schemes. For this, we will bring a population policy soon. The authorities should work towards that. If there are joint families, we will redesign government welfare schemes if necessary so that there is no worry about the schemes coming. We will provide more benefits to the beneficiaries and we will ensure that families are not separated,” he added.
