Stating that he has been encouraging the youth to enter politics, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that any country develops only because of its youth. Speaking at a meeting with the Telugu industrialists and diaspora Andhras organized in Zurich, he said our people shine wherever they go.
People from 12 countries in Europe participated in the meeting. The Chief Minister said that Telugu people will work great anywhere and will excel in the same way. He explained that Telugu people are more persistent and develop their skills.
He said that the print of Telugu people will be in all countries and that is our greatness. He reminded that he had encouraged the youth in the past to make inroads in the IT sector. He said that he was surprised that there were Telugu people in so many countries.
Chandrababu commented that when he was in jail, you all supported him a lot. “If I were to be born again, I would like God to make me a Telugu. I want new ideas and consciousness among the youth. In those days, I gave more importance to IT. Many youths came from villages to cities and studied IT. I told many not to sell lands in Hyderabad. I told them that land would fetch a good price in Hyderabad,” he added.
Referring to the encouragement he has given to girls in education, Chandrababu said that “Now young women are also excelling in many fields. Now, no matter which IT company you go to, you will see girls. Currently, young women are earning more than young men. It has been proven that women are smarter than men”.
He said that the youth should always think towards the future. He said that his goal is for Telugus to be great by 2047 and also that they should get special recognition. The Chief Minister reminded that the Telugu people have come to this level after facing many difficulties and that the Andhra diaspora worked well when the problem arose in Ukraine.
“No matter where you go, you should not forget your roots. You all studied because of the engineering colleges that were established that day. We fought hard and got the Microsoft Center set up in Hyderabad. We are working to improve the skills of the youth of our state. The idea is to encourage the Andhra diaspora. It is because of continuous hard work that the Telugu people are progressing in all fields”, he said.
