CM Chandrababu says 15 Lakh Golden Families should Be Adopted By Aug 15

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has made it clear that 15 lakh golden families should be adopted by August 15. He has also set a target for the officials to speed up the process of registering the mentors. The CM described the P4 as a case study for capital land acquisition. He revealed that 70,000 families have been helped through P4 so far.

CM Chandrababu conducted a review in Undavalli on the implementation of the P4 policy. Minister Payyavula Keshav, Chief Secretary Vijayanand and other top officials attended the meeting. CM Chandrababu Naidu has directed the officials to convert the Smart AP Foundation into the Swarnandhra P4 Foundation.

As part of the Zero Poverty P4 goal, the Chief Minister has instructed the officials to ensure that 15 lakh families in the state are adopted by the mentors by August 15 this year. He said that the necessary registration and adoption process for this should be expedited.

He said that the P4 policy has been brought today as a continuation of the PPP policy that was taken up after the economic reforms. He said that Amaravati will be a case study for P4 and that by making 29,000 farmers partners in the construction of the capital, they have been enabled to create wealth for them.

In this spirit, he said that every golden family should be adopted by the mentor and worked for their upliftment. The CM said that he will review the progress of P4 once in 10 days. On the other hand, CM Chandrababu reviewed the P4 logo designs prepared by the officials. Officials informed CM Chandrababu that organizations like Milap, Project Deep, Rang De, Bhargo have come forward to provide cooperation as partners to run the P4 program successfully.

He explained that out of 19,15,771 golden families registered in the state, 70,272 families have been adopted by the mentors so far. He said that the maximum number of these are 26,340 BC families, 14,024 SC families, and 13,115 ST families.

Earlier in the cabinet meeting, the Chief Minister said that there should be an office in every constituency for the proper implementation of P4. He suggested that steps should be taken to make the P4 system more accessible to the people. He said that efforts should be made to establish a P4 office in every district center by the 12th of this month.
