CM Chandrababu Reviews CRDA, Emphasizes Investment-Driven Land Allocation for Amaravati

Amaravati: Today, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu conducted a review of the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA). During the meeting, he asserted that land allocations in Amaravati would be granted only to those who contribute to wealth creation and bring in investments. He also announced plans to reassess previous land allocations.

Chandrababu confirmed that the capital would remain within the 8,352 square kilometers identified earlier, as per the Government Order No. 207 issued in 2015, which defines the CRDA’s jurisdiction. He instructed officials to retract the inclusion of certain villages in the Mangalagiri Municipality.

In the CRDA meeting, discussions also focused on transforming Amaravati into an education hub by inviting various educational institutions. Chandrababu directed officials to proceed with the construction of a four-lane Karakatta road and the Inner Ring Road (IRR).
