Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, along with Union Ministers Rammohan Naidu, Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, MPs Sabari and Kesineni Chinni, paid tributes to former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh’s mortal remains in New Delhi on Friday.
The Chief Minister expressed his deepest condolences to his family members. Stating that the death of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is very sad, Chandrababu said that the country has lost a great economic reformer and that his aspirations will be taken forward.
Chandrababu said that the death of Manmohan Singh has deeply shocked him. He praised Manmohan Singh for his tireless service to the country. He said that his death is an irreparable loss to the country. He expressed his condolences to the family members of Manmohan Singh.
“Manmohan Singh’s death is very sad. The country has lost a great economic reformer. Manmohan Singh served the country tirelessly. He brought economic reforms with vision. He brought employment guarantee, Aadhaar, RTI, Right to Education Act. Manmohan held many posts competently”, said Chandrababu.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan said that Manmohan Singh’s death was shocking. He said that he prays to God that his soul may rest in peace. He expressed his deep condolences to his family. He praised Manmohan for taking the country to new heights economically and explained that the services provided by Manmohan Singh were memorable.
Minister Nara Lokesh expressed condolences over the death of Manmohan Singh. He praised that he led the economy on the path of growth. AP Assembly Speaker Ayyannapatrudu reminded that he set the direction for the country with economic reforms.
Meanwhile, APCC President YS Sharmila said that the death of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is very sad. She praised him as the economic architect of India, a pioneer of reforms, a tireless warrior and a great leader. She said that the services he provided as the Prime Minister of the country and the Union Finance Minister for two terms were invaluable.
