CM Chandrababu Naidu’s Delhi Visit: Key Meetings And Discussions

On the second day of his visit to Delhi, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was actively engaged in high-level meetings. He began the day with a nearly hour-long discussion with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

During the meeting, Chief Minister Naidu sought Modi’s support for the state’s reconstruction efforts, focusing on issues such as the development of Amaravati as the capital, the Polavaram project, fulfillment of bifurcation promises, and the release of funds for underdeveloped districts. Naidu also requested funding for other ongoing projects.

Accompanying Naidu in the meeting with the Prime Minister were Union Minister K. Rammohan Naidu, Minister of State Dr. P. Chandrasekhar, and TDP Lok Sabha leader Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu.

Following his meeting with Modi, Naidu met with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to discuss Andhra Pradesh’s budget allocations. He emphasized the need for immediate release of funds.

After the discussion with Sitharaman, Naidu met with Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel, Kumarswamy. The Chief Minister is scheduled to have a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah later in the day.
