Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu launched Mega PTM (Parent, Teacher Meeting) program at ZP School in Kothacheruvu, Sri Sathya Sai District on Thursday and turned himself in as a teacher for some time. On this occasion, he said that new innovations are possible only if education is put into practice.
He went to the classroom and taught lessons to the students, gave instructions to students and their parents. He participated along with Education Minister Nara Lokesh. Chandrababu was warmly welcomed by the teachers and students upon reaching the school.
Later, the CM inspected the school premises and made several suggestions to the teachers. He interacted with the parents of the students. He inquired about the way the students were studying. He examined the progress cards of the children. Later, the CM inspected each classroom in the school and tested the learning abilities of the students.
He interacted with the students in the digital classrooms. He went to the 8th classroom and taught lessons to the students. During this time, Minister Lokesh sat with the children and listened attentively to the lesson. After teaching the students the lesson, CM Chandrababu asked the children questions.
He tested their learning ability and cleared their doubts. He asked the children how they want to grow in the future. The CM advised them to study well to improve their lives. The CM, who took pictures with the students, examined the science models made by them. He encouraged them to grow even higher.
CM Chandrababu said that schools are holy temples that educate children and provide them with knowledge. He said that he had planned to form this parents’ committee in 1998. He called on those who have studied and come up to the top to give some help to the schools. The Chief Minister made it clear that girl students are not inferior to male students in any way.
He said that government schools are being developed on par with private schools. Stating that not a single teacher was appointed in the past five years, he asked the former Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy to explain how he brought about educational reforms without teachers. He made it clear that despite financial difficulties, all the Super Six promises will be fulfilled.
