Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for bringing the Next Gen GST reforms. In a post on Social Media Platform X, Chandrababu said that the Prime Minister gave a rousing speech to the people of the country on Sunday. The CM opined that the commencement of the GST Bachat Utsav celebrations with these reforms brought in keeping in mind the interests of the people is a welcome development.
The Chief Minister stated that all sections will benefit from limiting the GST tax slabs to only 5 and 18 percent. Chandrababu clarified that 99 percent of essential goods will come under the 5 percent bracket, due to which the poor and middle class people, farmers, women and youth will benefit from these reforms. He said that the reforms have been designed to attract investments along with the simplification of the tax system.
CM Chandrababu said that he is confident the reforms have been designed to attract investments along with the growth of businesses. He described the mantra of Nagrik Devo Bhava given by the Prime Minister as a gift to the people of the country. He said that the slogan given by the Prime Minister, Garv Se Kaho, Yeh Swadeshi Hai, will enhance national feelings in everyone. He hoped that this slogan would become a national movement.
The Chief Minister clarified that the Prime Minister’s call to the states to be equal partners in growth and increase local products is a strong message for cooperative federalism. Chandrababu announced that he fully supports Prime Minister Modi’s instructions to work with the spirit of Atma Nirbhar and Vikasit Bharat. He made it clear that he will dedicate himself to the achievement of Swarnandhra in accordance with Prime Minister Modi’s instructions.
CM Chandrababu thanked Prime Minister Modi on behalf of the people of the state for bringing GST reforms with a bold decision. He said that people will celebrate the Dussehra festival with double enthusiasm with the GST reforms.
The CM revealed that people will directly benefit from low prices and simplified taxes. Chandrababu suggested that everyone should buy indigenous products. The Chief Minister asked everyone to take steps to increase self-reliance and a sense of nationalism in his address.
