CM Chandrababu concluded Singapore visit Enhancing AP’s Brand Image successfully

Chief Minister Chandrababu’s Singapore visit, which was undertaken with the aim of attracting investments and enhancing AP’s brand image, has been successfully completed. Accompanied by Ministers Nara Lokesh, P. Narayana, TG Bharat and other senior officials, he participated in various meetings and round table discussions for four days in Singapore.

They visited prestigious projects in Singapore and studied their implementation in the state, a total of 26 programs. The CM met with Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, former Prime Minister and current Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong, as well as Trade and Industry Minister Tan See Leng, Security and Home Affairs Minister K. Shanmugam and others.

The Chief Minister appealed to participate in the development of Andhra Pradesh and Amaravati as well. He was successful in restoring the damaged relations between AP and Singapore due to the actions of the previous rulers. He was able to make the Singapore government representatives look back at AP.

The CM invited the Singapore government representatives to attend the investment conference to be held in Visakhapatnam on November 14-15. Indian High Commissioner to Singapore Shilpak Ambule provided assistance to the Chief Minister’s team at the end of the visit.

On the other hand, the Chief Minister met with representatives of Surbana Jurong, Semb Corp, SIA Engineering, AI Singapore, Keppel Corporation, GIC, SMBC, CapitaLand Investment, Eversendai Engineering, Tom Seck, Wilmar, TVS Motors, Mandai Wildlife, Adani Ports and other companies and explained the opportunities in the state.

The CM created awareness about the investment opportunities and the pro-industrial policies being implemented in the state. He urged AP to be a destination for investments in India. 

The CM said that a lot of incentives are being given to companies coming to the state. He  participated in various roundtable meetings on urban development, IT, AI, Fintech, maritime and ports infrastructure, urging Singaporean industrialists to utilize the resources here and invest.

Along with this, the CM team visited the prestigious housing project Bidadari Estate, Jurong Petrochemical Island, Tuas Port and Singapore Sports School in Singapore. It was decided to study the best and modern policies being implemented in those projects and formulate plans to introduce them in the state. The Telugu Diaspora from Southeast Asia meeting held in Singapore was a highlight of the entire tour.

At the beginning of the tour, Telugu people from five nearby countries along with Singapore extended a warm and enthusiastic welcome to the Chief Minister’s team. After completing the visit, the Telugu people of Singapore bid a grand farewell to CM Chandrababu, who left for his home country.
