Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has instructed officials to increase digital literacy among the people of the state. Conducting a review on RTGS and people’s perception, he said that there is still some lack of awareness among the people about WhatsApp governance and directed the collectors to take responsibility to increase awareness through the village secretariat staff.
The Chief Minister has instructed district collectors to take steps to ensure that everyone in the state becomes digitally literate. He said that the facility of filing complaints and petitions through WhatsApp governance should be explained to the people.
He also said that the facility of illiterate people to file voice messages through WhatsApp will be introduced soon. He said that if digital literacy increases among the citizens, the use of WhatsApp governance will also increase.
The CM also ordered that the data lake connection process should be expedited. He said that the government is providing the opportunity to get services through WhatsApp on their phones without the need to go around officials and offices to get any service from the government.
RTGS Secretary Bhaskar Katanneni informed the Chief Minister that 200 types of services are currently being provided through WhatsApp and another 150 services will be made available by the end of the month.
He said that in the coming days, we are making arrangements to make use of artificial intelligence on a large scale and make all services available to the people on one platform under the One State, One App system.
On the other hand, officials gave a presentation to the CM on the people’s perception that people are expressing satisfaction that the food in Anna canteens is delicious. They informed that 90 percent of the people are expressing complete satisfaction with the management of Anna canteens.
Officials said that 94 percent of the people answered positively to the question asked about the taste and quality of the food served in Anna canteens. They explained that the answer was that the cleanliness was also good.
Officials also told the CM that people have expressed satisfaction over the distribution of pensions. They suggested that the problem should be identified and resolved wherever people have expressed dissatisfaction.
