In his move to encourage women to give birth for more and more children, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu announced that maternity leave will be given for all deliveries for women, regardless of how many children are born. If this comes into effect, the employee will get maternity leave for all deliveries.
Women employees are expressing happiness over Chandrababu’s announcement on Women’s Day while interacting with women in Markapuram. The coalition government has already announced that it will give the work from home option to female employees. As a continuation of this, Chandrababu made another announcement.
He announced several boons for women as a gift for Women’s Day. Usually, the government gives maternity leave to every female government employee for two deliveries. They will have these paid leaves for six months.
In this context, after the coalition government came to power, the rule that those who have more than two children are ineligible to contest in local bodies was removed. Changes were made to the law to this extent. Another key decision was announced today to encourage child-rearing policies.
CM Chandrababu has been campaigning extensively about population balance for some time. If the country is to avoid the problem of aging in the coming days and if India is to move forward with youth power, Chandrababu suggests that family planning should be avoided.
In this context, he has called on the people on many occasions to have more children. He has repeatedly reminded them of the problems faced in Western countries due to not having children and excessive population control.
Moreover, his government has already given assurance to provide Rs. 15,000 under the `Thalliki Vandanam’ Scheme, regardless of the number of children in the house. Now, he promised to provide additional facilities to government employees who have more than one child. He announced to set up an industrial park for every constituency and to provide a 45 percent subsidy in setting up industries to women who come forward as entrepreneurs.
