Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu announced that Kuppam constituency will be made a model for the country for the implementation of the P4 policy to lift people out of poverty. To this end, he unveiled the ‘Swarna Kuppam Vision-2029’ document at the Dravidian University Auditorium in Kuppam constituency on Monday. He recently inaugurated the Suryagarh Solar Pilot Project in Kuppam constituency.
The Chief Minister announced that the Handri Niva water will be brought to Palaru Vagu by June and a check dam will be constructed on it. During his two-day visit to Kuppam, the CM laid the foundation stone and inaugurated various development works on Monday. He said that plans have been drawn up for the development works to be done every year.
He assured that investments will be brought to Kuppam and employment will be provided. He reminded that development will only come if people work hard and that no other flag has been hoisted in Kuppam since the birth of the TDP. He thanked the people of Kuppam for their love.
CM Chandrababu said that water security is being given high priority. He said that efforts will be made to convert the land into a reservoir and steps will be taken to ensure that there is 8 meters of groundwater before the rainy season. The CM said that we have taken advantage of the heavy rains and that steps are being taken to ensure that 73 percent of the reservoirs have water.
He said that steps will be taken to provide agricultural machinery to farmers and all necessary steps are being taken for solar power generation and steps are being taken to reduce current bills. He revealed that steps are being taken to improve sanitation through Swachha Kuppam. He said that it is people’s responsibility to make Swachha Kuppam as soon as possible, and the government is taking steps towards development by acquiring technology. He promised that all land issues will be resolved and justice will be done.
