CM Asks Bankers To Be A partner In The Journey of Swarnandhra Vision 2047

“Bankers need to be a partner in the journey of Swarnandhra Vision-2047. We are constantly working to make the dream of the vision a reality by implementing 10 principles. We have set a target of achieving a growth rate of 15%. Of these, the cooperation of bankers is very much needed for the key primary sector”, said Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

Presiding over a state level bankers consultative committee meeting, he said that there is a possibility of achieving more growth in agriculture and allied sectors, which requires adequate support from bankers.

He said, “People’s food habits are changing. Accordingly, crop cultivation is also changing. Horticultural crops are replacing agricultural crops. Keeping this in mind, bankers should provide loans to horticultural farmers in large quantities”.

He asked the bankers to help farmers who cultivate commercial crops that help in economic empowerment and all eligible farmers should be in a position to provide loans within 15 minutes of coming to the bank for loans.

He revealed that his government’s policy is to promote the dairy sector. In some cases,he deplored that due to the lack of proper market facilities and support prices, crop production is being wasted. “We are making efforts through block chain technology to prevent this. The government is also preparing plans for ‘product perfection”, he added.

Chandrababu said that they are undertaking programs to add value to crops and products. He said that in states like Punjab, cancer victims are increasing due to excessive use of pesticides and they are traveling to Delhi for treatment. He suggested that natural farming is a game changer for such problems and bankers should support natural farming along with horticultural crops.

CM Chandrababu said that all departments and sectors were damaged during the destructive rule of the previous government and efforts are being made to restore them. The CM asked banks to provide information to the investigating agencies and cooperate in the investigation into the irregularities of the previous government.

Agriculture Minister Atchannaidu urged the state to cooperate with drone technology in the agriculture sector. Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav urged the state to cooperate with reconstruction, health, wealth and a happy AP. MSME Minister Kondapalli Srinivas urged banks to cooperate with aspiring entrepreneurs.
