The upcoming pan-Indian film ‘Nagabandham: The Secret Treasure’, helmed by director Abhishek Nama, marks his second project following ‘Devil’. The movie was earlier introduced with an intriguing announcement video that transported us into its mystical world.
Today, the filmmakers launched the project officially with a grand pooja ceremony with many renowned personalities, including Megastar Chiranjeevi, revealing the film leads. They revealed that ‘Pedda Kaapu’ actor Virat Karrna will take on the lead role, with Nabha Natesh and Iswarya Menon as the female leads. The supporting cast features Jagapathi Babu, Jay Prakash, Murali Sharma, Jay Prakash, BS Avinash, and others in key roles.
During the Pooja ceremony event, Asian Suniel handed over the script and Megastar Chiranjeevi clapped for the Muhurtham shot, while Talasani Srinivas Yadav switched on the camera and director Ajay Bhupathi directed the first shot.
The plot of “Nagabandham” centers on the hidden treasures of 108 Vishnu temples, including the renowned Padmanabhaswamy Temple and Puri Jagannath Temple. The film delves into the mysteries surrounding these ancient treasures, unraveling secrets.Presented by Devansh Nama, the film is produced by Madhusudhan Rao of Abhishek Pictures and Kishore Annapureddy under Nik Studios in association with Thunder Studios Banner. Slated for a grand worldwide theatrical release in 2025, the film will begin its regular shooting on October 23, 2024. Abhe is composing the musical tunes for this flick.
