Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, directed by Anil Ravipudi, has entered a fresh shooting schedule. The makers announced that filming will run from today until September 19, during which two songs will be shot. The team expressed confidence that these songs will set new records.
The film, which earlier completed schedules in Kerala, is slated for a Sankranti 2026 release as a visual treat for audiences. Actor Venkatesh will be seen in a crucial role. Producers Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela are backing the project, with Garapati confirming that Venkatesh will join the shoot from October 5.
Chiranjeevi is gearing up for two big releases next year — Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu for Sankranti and the socio-fantasy Vishwambhara, directed by Vassishta, in summer 2026. While Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu uses limited VFX, Vishwambhara will feature extensive visual effects. Nayanthara plays the female lead in the former, while Trisha stars opposite Chiranjeevi in Vishwambhara. Promotional posters of both films have already raised expectations.
