Megastar Chiranjeevi has successfully completed the second shooting schedule of his upcoming film, tentatively titled Mega 157. The schedule took place in the scenic hill town of Mussoorie, with the production team confirming that several key sequences, including a special song and pivotal scenes featuring Chiranjeevi and lead actress Nayanthara, were filmed during this leg. The film, directed by Anil Ravipudi, is being positioned as a full-fledged comedy entertainer and marks a departure from Chiranjeevi’s recent string of action dramas.
Director Anil Ravipudi shared an update on social media, stating that the team is preparing to begin the next schedule soon and is targeting a grand theatrical release during Sankranti 2026. Rumours suggest that Chiranjeevi will be seen in a dual role, with one character inspired by his vintage screen persona and the other set in a high-action context. However, an official confirmation is awaited. The character name “Shiva Shankar Vara Prasad” is also being speculated. Produced on a large scale, the film features music by Bheems Ceciroleo and is generating considerable buzz among both fans and general audiences.
