Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to collaborate with Dasara fame director Srikanth Odela for an upcoming film, sparking significant excitement in the industry. The project, officially announced recently, will be presented by Natural Star Nani and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri. The film is expected to be a gripping gangster drama, with Chiranjeevi appearing in a completely new avatar. Director Srikanth Odela has hinted that the screenplay will be packed with thrilling elements.
According to reports, Chiranjeevi is charging a record-breaking remuneration for the project. Media outlet Siasat claims that the veteran actor will earn ₹75 crore for the film, marking the highest paycheck of his career. If confirmed, this would set a new milestone in Chiranjeevi’s remuneration records.
Adding to the excitement, Tamil music sensation Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to compose the film’s music. This will be the first time that Anirudh will score music for a Chiranjeevi film, further heightening expectations.
In an interview with Hyderabad Times, Srikanth Odela shared insights about the project, revealing that the script was finalized in just 48 hours. “I’m a fan of Chiranjeevi until he steps out of his caravan. But once he enters the set, he’s no longer the star — he’s just the character in my film. I grew up watching his movies, and now working with him feels surreal. We locked the script within 48 hours,” he said.
Currently, Srikanth Odela is working on his second film, The Paradise, starring Nani. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi is shooting for Vishvambhara under director Vashishta. The Chiranjeevi-Srikanth Odela project is expected to go on floors after both these films are completed.
