Megastar Chiranjeevi, the celluloid of Indian cinema, has received the prestigious Padma Vibhushan Award. The legendary actor was honored and received the second-highest civilian award at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi yesterday.
Receiving the award with the President of India, Draupadi Murumu, the actor shared a heartfelt thank-you note on his X handle. Chiranjeevi expressed his heartfelt gratitude on the note and thanked the supporters in the realm of art, his beloved fans, and the union government for honoring the Padma Vibhushan award, as well as those who congratulated him on his special day.
The award ceremony was attended by his family members, including his wife Surekha, his son Ram Charan, his daughter-in-law Upasana, and his daughter Susmitha. After receiving the award, Chiranjeevi posed proudly with his family. The photos and videos from the event went viral, enthralling his fans.

Ram Charan posted a series of pictures along with a video of Megastar receiving the prestigious Padma Vibhushan award on his Instagram handle and also wrote, “Congratulations dad. On the work front, Megastar is currently gearing up for his much anticipated next ‘Vishwambara’, helmed by Mallidi Vassishta. Renowned actress Trisha Krishnan is paired opposite Chiranjeevi in this socio-fantasy drama. Produced under the banner of UV Creations, the film is scheduled to be released in theaters in Sankranthi in 2025.
