Chiranjeevi, NTR React To Knife Attack on Saif Ali Khan

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked by an unidentified intruder at his residence in the early hours of Thursday. The incident has sparked concern across the film fraternity, with actors Chiranjeevi and NTR expressing their shock and extending wishes for his swift recovery.  

“The attack on Saif Ali Khan deeply disturbed me. Praying for his speedy recovery,” Chiranjeevi wrote on social media. NTR echoed similar sentiments, stating, “I am shocked to hear about the attack on Saif Sir. It is truly saddening. Wishing him a quick and safe recovery.”  

Fans have also taken to social media, sharing their prayers and well-wishes for the actor.  

Details of the Incident  

The attack occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday when Saif and his family were asleep. An intruder broke into the residence, reportedly attempting theft. Saif noticed the intruder and attempted to intervene, leading to a physical altercation during which the actor sustained six knife wounds, including two deep injuries.  

Saif was immediately rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he is currently undergoing surgery. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation, forming multiple teams to track down the assailant.  

Statement from Kareena Kapoor’s Team  

Kareena Kapoor’s team released an official statement regarding the incident:  

“An attempted robbery occurred at Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s residence last night. Saif sustained an injury to his hand and is currently undergoing treatment. The rest of the family is safe. We request the media and fans to exercise restraint and avoid spreading rumors. The police are investigating the matter.”  

Connection to NTR  

Saif Ali Khan recently shared screen space with NTR in the film Devara, where he portrayed the antagonist Bhairava. The film, in which NTR played dual roles, received widespread acclaim. NTR’s heartfelt response reflects the camaraderie the actors developed during the production.
