CS Rangarajan, the chief priest of the renowned Chilkur Balaji Temple in Hyderabad, was attacked at his residence. According to reports, a group of individuals forcefully entered his home and allegedly pressured him to support the establishment of ‘Rama Rajya.’ When he refused, they physically assaulted him.
During the altercation, Rangarajan’s son attempted to intervene but was also injured.
Following the incident, Rangarajan and the chairman of the Chilkur Temple Managing Committee filed a complaint with the police, seeking legal action against the attackers.
Several Hindu organizations have strongly condemned the attack and demanded stringent measures against those responsible.
