A biopic `Telugodu’ released on Thursday in YouTube on his life is creating a sensation on social media. Telugu signature on the world is the tagline of the film. The movie was presented by Cheela Venugopal under Vijayavani Productions banner. The film is produced by Dr. Venky Medasani under his own direction, providing the story, narration and dialogues.
Dr Venky Medasani, a hair transplant surgeon who has no background or experience in cinema, is receiving praise for making a biopic of Chandrababu, who made his mark on the Telugu public in his first attempt. On the occasion of the release of this film, he said people’s lives have changed due to the reforms undertaken in Chandrababu’s life and his administration.
“I was so fascinated by that topic. Even after 5 decades of independence, the lives of the rural people have not changed. Due to the development made by Chandrababu Garu, the rural people who came to the cities are leading a high standard of life. Development is not just about big buildings. Even the change in society!”, he added.
He further said that his film is the story of a leader who thought to make an unknown region a destination for the world. “I thought of making a film five or six months ago. After preparing the story, I met some producers. I also met some elders. They warned that if a film is made on a political leader, it will not be successful.But we made a big film with small artists. I believe that people can be reached by trusting in the content,”, he said.
