Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has reportedly expressed his displeasure that the ministers are failing to take development and welfare programs to the people. He also pointed out ministers are failing to respond quickly if any incident is happening in the state.
Chandrababu expressed impatience as to why the district minister, the in-charge minister and the health minister did not respond after showing the incident of diarrhea in Vizianagaram?
After the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Chandrababu had a separate meeting with the ministers on political issues and emphasized the need to improve their performance. He wondered why even after 15 days of appointing the district in-charge ministers, several of them have not taken up field visits?
Asking ministers to compete with him in their performance, he alerted them that they should realize that every moment is precious. Moreover, he said that it is the responsibility of the ministers to take the matter of free cylinders to the public about the good that the government is doing to the people.
Chandrababu cautioned ministers that they should not confine themselves to speak only on their respective departmental issues, but they should try to project the performance of the entire government and also burning political issues in the state. Whereas, he deplored that some ministers are not even talking about their own departmental activities.
He directed them that ministers should respond immediately whenever the opposition tried to mudsling against the government and ministers should rebut them by telling the truth to the people. He also asked ministers to maintain good coordination with the alliance parties. He also suggested explaining to people how the center is extending assistance for the development of the state.
The Chief Minister made it clear that the officials and the in-charge ministers should ensure that the free sand policy is implemented effectively. He ordered to register cases under the PD Act if any one blocked sand, carrying bulldozers and tractors. He said that farmers can dig sand in patta lands and sell it as per their wish.
