Chandrababu Says Polling Violence Makes Jagan Admit Of Defeat

Expressing happiness over brisk polling in the state, TDP supremo and former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said through Twitter that it reflects people’s strong opposition to the YS Jagan’s regime of anarchy. He appreciated that a large number of voters turned out at polling stations overcoming all obstacles created by YCP goons.

He said Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has admitted his defeat even before conclusion of the polling through his party goons attacks, violent incidents and even to the extent of attempt to murder. He lamented that YCP goons resorted to indiscriminate violence in places like Macherla, Railway Kodur and Punganur due to fear of defeat.

“They made drops of blood fall where a drop of ink should fall. YCP MLA Annabthuni Shivakumar attacked voters in Tenali for asking to follow the que line. However, the voting pattern indicates public opinion cannot be changed by attacks and atrocities” he added.

Former Chief Minister said that incidents of YCP goons resorted to violence from Srikakulam and Chittoor only confirming that their defeat is certain.  He severely condemned YCP goons attacks on activists of NDA parties in Punganur, Macherla, Railway Kodur, Maidukuru, Amudalavalasa and Tadikonda.

He said that it is shameful YCP Guntur MP candidate Kilaru Roshaiah ran into SC women in Takkellapadu polling station with his car. He asked the ECI to take immediate steps and stern action against all those who created disturbances and attempted to stall the polling process on Monday.

Chandrababu wondered that even though polling has started, IVRS calls are getting to voters in the name of Jagan Reddy violating Model Code of Conduct. He deplored attacks on Narasaraopet MP candidate L Krishnadevarayalu and MLA candidate Chadalawada Aravind Babu vehicles in Narasaraopet.

He also said that YCP MLA Peddareddy and his son threatened voters in Tadipatri. He wondered that Speaker Tammineni Sitaram’s wife  was involved in rigging in Amadalavalasa.

However, Chandrababu Naidu hailed enthusiasm and courage shown by voters who turned out in large numbers to polling stations ignoring violent acts and threats by YCP goons. He congratulated all those who took part in voting in such a tense environment.
